Dreamscreens Canada Inc. is a family owned business headquartered in Oakville, Ontario for the past 25 years. We manufacture and install retractable screen doors and overhead motorized screens. We are looking to add a new installer to our team that lives in the near by area.

If you love working with people, are handy with tools and measurements, this is a great opportunity. As an installer, you will work mostly within the GTA and surrounding regions. This position involves installing retractable screens on doors and windows, motorized screens on large covered areas, as well as providing demonstrations and information to customers. Four job sites per day is typical. The day starts and ends at the manufacturing plant in Oakville. Must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs and working at heights up to 16ft high. Great Installers have solid attention to detail, communicate well with clients in their homes, are polite & courteous, and have general knowledge and use of power tools. When you are not out installing you will be working in the manufacturing plant assisting in production.

Installer Qualifications:

- Handy - You know your way around basic carpentry and hand/power tools.
- High standards - You pay meticulous attention to detail and care about delivering world-class results.
- Flexible - You can work 1 day over the weekend per month if needed during the peak of the season and be flexible on hours.
- Amiable - You have strong oral communication skills and a winning personality.
- How You Work - You’re a team player who can also fly solo.
- Transportation - You have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Experience
- general carpentry, window and door installation an asset, comfortable with hand & power tools, taking accurate measurements.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

- Perform installations at customers’ homes at pre-scheduled times, taking care to protect their property
- Demonstrate system to customers upon completion of the installation
- Clean workspace upon completion
- Complete paperwork with the customer and collect final payment
- Maintain communication with Installation Manager throughout the day
- Perform multi-step processes in a logical order, check your work, and recognize and correct mistakes
