**Job Title: Structural Assembler**

**Position Overview**: As a Structural Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of aerospace components. Working closely with our team of engineers and technicians, you will ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are upheld throughout the assembly process. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong understanding of structural assembly techniques, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to assemble structural components in accordance with design requirements.
- Perform precision drilling, riveting, fastening, and bonding operations using hand and power tools.
- Conduct quality inspections to verify dimensional accuracy, alignment, and adherence to specifications.
- Identify and resolve assembly issues, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize assembly processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to strict cleanliness and safety standards.
- Document assembly procedures, including any deviations or modifications, to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Structural Assembler in the aerospace or related industry.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in precision assembly techniques.
- Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools commonly used in structural assembly.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience working in accordance with aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100) is preferred.
- Valid certification or training in structural assembly techniques is an asset.

**Additional Information**:

- This position is based in Saint Laurent, Quebec,
- The duration of this contract is one year, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance.
- As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for managing your own taxes and benefits.

**Responsabilités**:

- Interpréter les dessins techniques, les plans et les spécifications techniques afin d'assembler des composants structurels conformément aux exigences de la conception.
- Effectuer des opérations de perçage, de rivetage, de fixation et de collage de précision à l'aide d'outils manuels et électriques.
- Effectuer des contrôles de qualité pour vérifier l'exactitude des dimensions, l'alignement et le respect des spécifications.
- Identifier et résoudre les problèmes d'assemblage, en veillant à respecter les protocoles de sécurité et les réglementations industrielles.
- Collaborer avec des équipes interfonctionnelles afin d'optimiser les processus d'assemblage et d'améliorer l'efficacité globale.
- Maintenir une zone de travail propre et organisée, en respectant des normes strictes de propreté et de sécurité.
- Documenter les procédures d'assemblage, y compris les écarts ou les modifications, afin de soutenir les initiatives d'amélioration continue.
- Participer à des séances de formation et à des ateliers pour se tenir au courant des meilleures pratiques de l'industrie et des technologies émergentes.

**Exigences**:

- Expérience confirmée en tant qu'assembleur de structures dans l'industrie aérospatiale ou dans une industrie connexe.
- Maîtrise de l'interprétation des dessins techniques, des plans et des spécifications techniques.
- Forte aptitude à la mécanique et expertise dans les techniques d'assemblage de précision.
- Familiarité avec une variété d'outils manuels et électriques couramment utilisés dans l'assemblage de structures.
