**Department Overview**
- TD Securities TBM (Trading Business Management) Toronto TSG (Trade Support Group) primarily engages in the ongoing support of the North American Fixed Income Trading & Sales desks. The group’s functions include, but are not limited to; Trade Capture, Trade Validation, Cancel & Amendments processes, trade break investigations along with supervisory analysis and reporting.
- The Analyst position will be a support function assisting the North American Derivatives Validation team.
- Responsible for the Trade Support of our Interest Rate Derivatives Trading & Sales groups, located in Toronto & New York
- Manual Validation of Interest Rate Derivatives trades
- Cancel & Amendment of Interest Rate trades upon instruction or notification from the impacted Interest Rate Trading or Origination teams
- Perform maintenance to applicable trades upon instruction or notification of the Interest Rate Trading or Origination teams
- Responsible for the independent analysis and composition of Key Risk Indicator metrics and production of the monthly Trading Supervision Pack in support of TSG management
- Ensure that the IR Trading and Sales desk meets all aspects of Trader Supervision and the GCRM
- Escalate non-standard or high-risk transactions or other activities as appropriate
- Prompt investigation and resolution of errors and/or queries from Trading, Operations or Finance & Accounting staff
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with front office partners and independent support and control groups to facilitate the achievement of front office objectives
- Act as a liaison between the Trading/Sales Desk and all other areas including (Ops, Risk, Credit, CMRM and Technology)
- Assist and help navigate the Rates businesses you support thru applicable industry and supervisory regulations

**Job Requirements**
- Knowledge and understanding of Interest Rate trading processes, products and trade lifecycle functions
- Experience with Calypso, MarkitWire and Swap Execution Facilities
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to solve issues creatively and able to communicate the solutions clearly and concisely
- Client management expertise and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Excellent time management skills and an ability to meet the multiple strict market deadlines and handle high volumes of work daily
- Experience in multi-step processing through non-standard processing environments or in a combination of manual and automated environments is desirable
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required when dealing with internal groups and external counterparties in problem resolution
- Proficient with MS Office Suite; Highly skilled in use of Excel
- Flexibility to adapt to changing ad-hoc data requirements within short timeframes
- 4 Year Degree or equivalent.
- Preferred 3-5 Years of Derivatives experience.
