Perri’s Corporation is the largest manufacturer of guitar straps in Canada. We have designed - and finely crafted - our guitar straps for over fifteen years. Currently, our company satisfies over 700 retailers and tens of thousands of musicians around the world with over 700 original designs. We also produce other musical accessories - including guitar picks, magnets and wallets. Our family business combines the expertise and experience needed to produce unique and beautiful guitar straps. Our top priority is to supply an excellent variety of guitar straps and accessories.
**About the Position**
Currently, we are looking to expand our production team. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable **Procurement Specialist**. For this role, responsibilities include the following:
- Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
- Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
- Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
- Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
- Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
- Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
- Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
- Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development

**Qualifications**
- High school degree or equivalent
- Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems
- Five(5) years previous experience as procurement officer or related position
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
- Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
Flexible language requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
