**Your Role - DevOps Associate (temporary, full-time - 1 year)**

The DevOps Associate will be responsible for maintaining the existing services and infrastructure while designing and developing feature enhancements. We’re looking for a skilled DevOps Associate to join our team and help us streamline our operations, improve system reliability, and deliver high-quality products to our clients.

**What You Will Do**
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and scaling using tools like Terraform, or similar
- Monitor and manage cloud environments (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure,) to ensure high availability and reliability
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of new features and updates
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure proactive detection and resolution of issues
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues across the development and production environments
- Conduct firebase integration and management
- Ensure security best practices are followed in all DevOps processes, including vulnerability management and data protection
- Document processes, systems, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.

**What You Will Bring**

**Education**:

- Google Associate Cloud Engineer (or equivalent), and
- Certifications in GCP, or other cloud platforms. (e.g., AWS, Azure).

A combination of education and/or experience will also be considered.

**Knowledge**:

- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role, preferably in a cloud-native environment
- Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies, and
- Strong working knowledge of Office 365 and Google Workspace.

**Experience**:

- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or similar, and
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Excellent time management with a strong focus on completing deliverables within agreed-upon timelines. Consistently meets deadlines, adapts to changing priorities, and communicates accordingly.

**Communication and Interpersonal Relationship Skills**: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose several solutions to a problem.
