As a Landscape Technician at EcoBridge Landscape you will be key to our success in creating and transforming Vancouver’s outdoor spaces. You will be onsite to take part in the execution of the day-to-day tasks and work closely with the Project Manager to ensure that projects are completed to the highest quality and on schedule. You will have a good understanding and ability to execute tool storage, transportation, repair/maintenance procedures. You will undertake daily tasks and steps for various types of installations such as paving stones, profideko, grouting, retaining walls made of wood, allan blocks and stackstone, etc. You will bring a great attitude, ideas and professionalism to the team and foster collaboration and productivity.

**You will be**:

- **Softscaping** - Installing sod, hedges, shrubs, flowers, and trees.
- **Hardscaping** - Installing pavers on aggregate, pavers on pedestals, concrete block and various woodwork from retaining walls, fences, drip strips, and pergolas.
- **Occasional Maintenance**:

- While the majority of our work is hardscape and softscape installation, 20% of our business is maintaining gardens for our loyal clients. This includes pruning, edge trimming, Lawn aeration and fertilization, etc.
- **A good work ethic**:

- This is a physical job that requires working as part of a team. You should be prepared to push yourself to a pace that is tiring but manageable and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- **A desire to do good work -** Care about the product you are installing and have a desire to leave our client with a preferable result, no matter how small your task might be. Every part of our work is important and we want you to care and get the satisfaction of a job well done at the end of the day.
- **Ability to work outdoors (in all Vancouver weather) - **All of our work is performed outside, aside from time commuting to and from job sites. So, you have to be able to handle the rain in the winter and the sunshine and heat in the summer.

- **Formal & On-site Training** - If you are new to landscaping and are looking to build your skills, we offer onsite training as well as the opportunity to take paid courses to help hone your craft. This could include elements of both softscape and hardscape construction, from horticulture to operating heavy machinery and first aid.
- **Full-time work** - We work Monday-Friday, day shifts. Occasionally over-time will be expected throughout the week, and work on Saturday is sometimes available for those wanting to work more.
- **Cooperative, team-oriented work environment** - We work hard, but we’re all about having fun doing it We are an inclusive and respectful crew, and we enjoy hosting staff outings throughout the season.

**Qualifications Desired (not necessary)**
- Min. 1 year Landscape installation experience
- BC Class 5 Drivers license
- Experience driving truck and trailer
- Excavator operation experience
- First Aid Certification

We speak Spanish and English

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
