Fossil has been building Vancouver’s most challenging and spectacular outdoor spaces for more than twenty years. With projects located in Vancouver, West Vancouver, Whistler and Bowen Island, Fossil executes a broad range of complex exterior construction tasks to the highest degree of workmanship.

**POSITION**

We are currently seeking energetic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team of landscape maintenance professionals. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive team that passionately maintains all aspects of truly exceptional outdoor spaces.

The position is ideal for individuals with industry experience who are skilled, organized and take pride in their work. A positive can-do attitude and passion to getting the job done right is essential. If you lack experience but like to learn and work hard outdoors, please still apply, our training process will get you up to speed quickly and prepare you for advancement.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Participate in ensuring the properties we maintain look great after every visit
- Weed and cultivate garden beds
- Mow and line trim lawns
- Clean and maintain all hardscape and paved surfaces on the property
- Clean and maintain other landscape element, e.g. patio furniture, custom metal work
- Maintain shrubs, perennials, annual plantings
- Shear hedging
- Installation of seasonal plantings and garden renovations as required
- Basic irrigation repairs and maintenance

**SELECTION CRITERIA**
- 2 years of Landscape maintenance experience
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and cares about customer service
- Safely operate landscape maintenance powered equipment
- Cares about working safely and the safety of other team members.
- Education in Horticulture, Certified Landscape Technician, interest in career in horticulture or currently working towards Red Seal would be a plus
- Driver’s license, a good driving record and being comfortable driving trucks is an asset

**JOB DETAILS**
- Permanent, full time work February to December
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm
- Job site locations in Vancouver and West Vancouver
- Transportation to properties in a company vehicle in most circumstances
