**2023 Summer Student Internship/Co-op Opportunity - Procurement Intern**
**About the co-op/internship program**:
The Home Depot Canada Internship/Co-op Program is a paid 16-week internship, running from May 8 - August 25th, 2023.

**Job Summary**:
The Procurement Intern will work with cross functional partners to resolve specific business issues and will work with leaders and associates to development and implement key strategies. This includes executing advanced analysis, detailed process engineering and change management.

**What You Bring to the Role**:

- Currently pursuing a university and/or college education in business, engineering or a related field of study will be considered a preferred qualification.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extrapolate pertinent information from various sources (reports and spreadsheets) and analyze data for recommendations
- Experience with Distribution, Transportation, or a Supply Chain related field a definite asset
- Experience with Six Sigma or other Process Improvement Methodology is preferred
- Proficient in: Microsoft Office Suite including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project Management principles.

The successful student will be currently enrolled in a Canadian accredited university or college throughout the period of the Internship/Co-op program. In addition, you must be legally entitled to work in Canada by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work permit.
