Boring Mill Operator

**Job Summary**:
**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate the following, Devlieg CNC Boring Mill
- Challenged daily in working with large and small fabricated and solid machined components.
- Ability to work to tight tolerances and have excellent understanding of technical drawings.
- Experience with complex set-ups and use of overhead crane.
- Interpret machining drawings in metric and standard.
- Prove CNC Programs and first run parts.
- Ability to read and understand manual CNC programs.
- Able to optimize CNC Programs, feeds, and speeds.
- Perform first off inspection of machined parts to ensure part compliance.
- Machining of higher complexity parts with a wide range of different materials.

**Required Experience & Qualifications**:

- Completion of High School/High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have experience working as a Journeyman Machinist.
- Must have experience with CNC machining and Operation of Boring Mills.
- General machinist certification an asset.
- Manual Lathe and CNC Lathe experience an asset.
- Ability to read & interpret blueprints, drawings, charts & tables.
- Motivated and able to work independently and with a team.
- Experience working in a custom fabrication and machine shop.
- Practice safe work procedures and follow all health & safety regulations.

- Full time employment Monday to Friday, 40 hours minimum, overtime as required

**Salary**: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
