**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:

- Working knowledge of equipment such as lathes (engine, CNC), milling machines, grinders, saws, shears, presses, belt sanders,
- Practical skills in using tools such as calipers, edge finders, micrometers, telescoping gauges, indicators, indexing equipment, de-burring tools, gauge blocks/pins, sin bar, angle plates, boring head, broaches, taps, end mills, face mills, hammers, clamps, verniers.
- Ability to review drawings, instructions, blueprints, samples to ensure accurate production.
- Complete and document inspections with precision and measuring tools as required to ensure parts are made to specifications.
- Access to applicable references such as the internet, machine manuals, and the Machinist.
- Ability to adapt to change and prioritize.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time; mínimal time in a seated position.
- Important to understand how to perform each job safely; be aware of any hazards associated with the job;
- Responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of machine equipment and tools being used.
- Some knowledge to perform minor adjustments or repairs.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Machinist in a production environment **Required**:

- Experience using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc. (preferred)
- Experience operating hand and power tools (preferred)
- Good understanding of basic mathematics (preferred)
- Understanding of different material properties (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to work independently or in a team (both motivated and collaboration-oriented)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
