We are seeking a* Revenue Manager* to join our team in **Winnipeg, MB**
The Revenue manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the Revenue Department. Reporting to the VP of Accounting, the Revenue Manager will manage the revenue process with a focus on process and control improvement. The Revenue Manager will be responsible for coaching, developing and driving the performance of the team. This role will be involved in facilitating collaboration between different departments by providing an overarching strategy to unite them.
**The Revenue Manager will**:

- Ensure that there is effective control over the review and posting of all revenue receipts and invoices for all divisions ensuring that their work aligns with company processing procedures
- Manage the month end process for the revenue department ensuring deadlines are met
- Reconciling aged accounts receivable reports to the general ledger and provide commentary on outstanding balances
- Responsible for the broker and consultant compensation process, including the creation of compensation statements
- Ensure commodity tax components are posted to proper GL accounts for tax reporting purposes
- Provide guidance on company revenue policies to the revenue team
- Lead the team in developing and implementing automated processes to create efficiencies
- Responsible for accounts receivable, which includes timely and accurate invoicing to clients, and collections
- Identify and implement KPI’s that can be used to measure the Revenue department and improve performance
- Work closely with the integration team to ensure that the Revenue requirements are understood for new practices and that they are effectively integrated into the current process
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to the team
- Develop strong strategic relationships with the work streams to ensure timely and accurate completion of all reporting requirements and to promote efficient information flow
- Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks in Revenue strategy opportunities
- Key contact for revenue queries for internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Lead the coordination of supporting documentation required during annual audit process as well as supporting quarterly reporting

**T**o be successful **as a** **Revenue Manager** with People Corporation, you will need**:

- Demonstrate strength in project management skills - planning and organizing the actions and priorities of others (and self), including managing, and coordinating tasks, project plans according to approved principles and within agreed parameters
- Learning and change agile with a proven capability to understand new business environments
- Ability to be able to lead, develop and mentor a large team and drive performance with quality
- Experience in process and control improvements, with ability to understand and redesign financial processes and related controls
- Demonstrate a high level of accountability, reliability, adaptability, and innovation in accomplishing day to day work and long-term goals
- Strong communication skills both written and oral skills. Able to build effective relationships and work across functions, particularly at the senior level
- Readily share information, knowledge, and personal strengths
- Seek to understand and build on differing perspectives of others to enhance team efficiency and quality outcomes
- Excellent facilitation skills and proven ability in promoting collaboration within and across teams
- An active CPA member with 7+ years of work experience in an accounting department with 3 years of leadership experience
- Post-Secondary education in accounting or related field
- Experience in Sage 300, Oracle or other ERP system is required, and experience with an ERP implementation is considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in a shared service environment dealing with a large volume of transactions is considered an asset
