**Position Summary - Contract Faculty: Microbiology**
It is an exciting time at Oulton College, and we are currently seeking applicants for the position of **Microbiology Faculty** for BSCN Program. Your primary responsibility will include developing and delivering engaging and evidence-based curriculum content and facilitating classroom learning experiences and evaluating student performance. One of our leading strengths, our diverse workforce enhances our ability to meet needs of our diverse student population. We are looking for applicants in **contract **role who can start as soon as possible.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Provide instruction to students enrolled in BScN.
- Facilitate the development, implementation, revision, and maintenance of curriculum under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
- Plan and deliver content and learning activities that reflect the values, beliefs, needs, and contributions of a culturally diverse community.
- Utilize LMS for in person, online, and blended course delivery.
- Manage the classroom activities to ensure an optimal learning environment using an outcome-based approach.
- Work cooperatively with program coordinators and colleagues in an interdependent “team” environment.
**Key Selection Criteria**
- Masters degree.
- Ability to arrange, maintain and evaluate resources.
- Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e
- mail, MS Office Suite software, D2L and ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
