**Responsibilities**:

- Works in conjunction with the Press Operator to efficiently complete the setup within the estimated time allocated
- Using different size print sleeves, put backing onto sleeve and mount plate with computer guidance
- Follow and support all established standard work and plate mounting procedures related to plate-mounter tasks
- Examine Cylinders prior to mounting to ensure they are defect free and have good gears and bearings.
- Ensure the proper cylinder is used
- Check plates for defects prior to mounting. Inform plate making of the defect and request a new plate(s) be made.
- Mount correct quantity of plates and number of plates based on production order.
- Seek to improve the plate mounting process through, recommending equipment enhancement, process improvements and procedure changes. Work as a team to improve and streamline the process with each department through communication with other departments and plate mounters.

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience as a Plate Mounter
- Excellent measuring skills
- Work in a safe manner and possess basic knowledge in health & safety regulations
- Good mechanical Aptitude
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50lbs)
- Good time management skills, punctual and reliable
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Communicate and cooperate with management and coworkers
- Shift Time: 3 Shift Rotation (7am -3pm, 3pm -11 pm, 11pm-7am)
- Willing to work overtime as required
