Plate Mounter

**Responsibilities**:

- Mount correct quantity of plates and number of plates based off listed colors and guidelines for Flexographic Printing.
- Check plates for defects prior to mounting and archiving of plates.
- Ensure proper cylinder size and backing is used.
- Examine cylinders prior to mounting to ensure they have good gears and bearings.
- Pull correct tooling as documented on the Job Spec Sheets.
- Follow and support all established plate mounting procedures.
- Maintain work center equipment in good working order.

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience as a Plate Mounter
- Excellent measuring skills
- Work in a safe manner and possess basic knowledge in health & safety regulations
- Good mechanical Aptitude
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50lbs)
- Good time management skills, punctual and reliable
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Communicate and cooperate with management and coworkers
- Afternoon shift
- Willing to work overtime as required

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
