Arborwest Consulting Ltd is seeking motivated, career-driven individuals to join our Utility Vegetation Management team.

We currently have one full-time and one part-time position to fill.

These positions will be based in Vancouver, BC and will require some travel.

These positions will remain open until filled.

Applicants with less than required qualifications may be considered for a Junior Work Planner position.

Requirements for this position:

- Minimum one year of Utility Vegetation Management (UVM) experience
- Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) and/or Wildlife Danger Tree Assessor (WLDT)
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and GIS mapping experience
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Class 5 Drivers License with ability to operate four-wheel drive vehicle and other off-road vehicles
- Ability to walk/hike rugged terrain in all weather conditions
- Ability to interpret maps/work plans and navigate accordingly
- Ability to collaborate with others on project teams
- Ability to problem solve and work independently
- Ability to identify common coastal trees and growth rates
- Flexibility for overnight travel

Considered an asset for this position:

- Certified Utility Arborist (CUA) or Apprentice Utility Arborist (AUA)
- ISA Certified Arborist/Utility Specialist
- ABCFP Registered Forest Technologist (RFT) or Registered Professional Forester (RPF)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)

We offer a flexible work schedule, competitive wages, overtime pay, company vehicle and/or mileage reimbursement, living out allowance, company paid accommodation and a comprehensive benefit package. (or sub-contract)

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.

**Salary**: $27.00-$37.50 per hour (56 to 78 K per year - before overtime)
