Toromont Power is looking for a Used Equipment Account Manager to join our team The Power Systems Used Equipment Account Manager has responsibility for both purchasing and selling of used Power Systems equipment. He/she will leverage his/her technical expertise and his/her network of industry contacts, to locate and purchase good used equipment at competitive prices into Power Systems Used inventory, and work in close collaboration with his peers, sharing inventory, contacts and leads to support the overall growth of the Power Systems Used Equipment business.

**In a typical day, YOU will**:

- Connect with owners and suppliers of used equipment to identify, evaluate and purchase good, used Power Systems used equipment at competitive market prices
- Connect proactively and by responding to incoming inquiries with potential buyers of used Power Systems equipment, demonstrate sales disciplines best practices negotiate, and conclude sales of used equipment
- Utilize sales management tools such as Quotelog and Saleslink to plan, track, and follow-up on opportunities to purchase or sell equipment and on customer touchpoints, including prospecting activities
- Interface with Used equipment coordinator and shop to ensure that equipment purchases and sales are properly documented in iMACS+, that POs and invoices are issued on time, and that freight and any shop work is properly scheduled and coordinator

**Must-haves for this role**:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in service or hands-on experience with power generation equipment (compression ignited)
- Post-secondary education in a technical program
- Technical aptitude with knowledge and experience working over a large geographic territory across divisions and levels of management
- Highly customer centric and a strong team player with a sense of urgency
- Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive requests simultaneously, and to remain calm and controlled in stressful times
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work within cross functional teams
- Attention to detail, efficient time management and effective planning skills with the ability to quickly adapt to multiple and often changing schedules and priorities in a deadline driven environment
- Self-directed with high integrity and initiative to be proactive in problem solving
- Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook
- Proficiency with TDMS systems (IRS, DBS, SalesLink, QUotelog) is a plus
