Overnight Cleaner

We are seeking a team of reliable and detail-oriented cleaners to clean our two buildings at 375 McNeely and 119 Hooper St overnight. We expect a team of 2 will require 3 hours per building for a total of 6 hours per night.

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors.

**Duties**:

- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and disinfectants
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Excellent time management skills to ensure all assigned duties are completed within designated timeframes
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors

We are looking for a team of 2 who have previous experience working together that are local to Carleton Place that can benefit by having the flexible hours.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 6 hours overnight

Sat night - 3 hours overnight (just McNeely building)
