**Location**: Montreal, Quebec**Area of Interest**: InsuranceJoining the National Bank Insurance team as NBPB President means taking on a leadership role on managing the expertise of life insurance and living benefits brokerage towards our Financial Security Advisors and our clients. In this role, you’ll have a positive impact on our organization with your dedication to offering sound advice, your taxation knowledge and your ability to be a strong advocate for client protection.

**Your role**
- Serve as a resource person for National Bank Insurance Firm’s insurance brokers, providing support and expert advice on taxation for complex files and analyses.
- Carry out analyses and make relevant recommendations related to clients’ corporate organization charts, calculating their income tax at death, shareholder agreements, estate planning, etc.
- Work closely with various stakeholders at the Bank, National Bank Financial and National Bank Insurance Firm and answer their tax questions.
- Prepare and present workshops, training sessions and seminars related to tax issues and insurance for various internal and external National Bank stakeholders.
- Meet with clients and their professionals (lawyers, notaries, accountants, tax specialists, etc.).
- Participate in the National Bank Insurance executive committee

**Your team**

As part of National Bank Insurance, you will have one resource reporting to you and you will report directly to the Senior Vice-President, Insurance. You will lead the Bank’s only centre of expertise dedicated to life and health insurance and living benefits. Your team’s mission is to provide in-depth taxation and financial planning expertise to benefit Financial Security Advisors, the Bank’s various networks, and especially our clients.

**Basic requirements**
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field (Accounting, Actuarial Sciences. Finance, Economics, Law, etc.)
- Financial planning title/accreditation (FP)
- Graduate diploma specializing in taxation (MTax/DESS)
- At least 10 years of professional experience in taxation and/or financial and estate planning and/or insurance
- Ability to analyze a corporate organization chart, calculate income tax at death for the managing shareholder, provide comments on a shareholder agreement and present the main aspects of post-mortem tax planning
- Excellent knowledge of the insurance industry
- Good understanding of the reality of independent Financial Security Advisors
- Excellent communication skills
- Bilingualism (English and French) required
