We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Beverage Server to join our team. As a Beverage Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests.

Duties include but not limited to:

- Preparing lounge for patrons
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely manner
- Prepare and serve limited food/appetizer menu in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and seating area
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines set forth by the province of Alberta
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
- Handle cash, debit and credit card transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customers concern or complaints
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the lounge.

**Skills**:

- Applicant must hold valid ProServe, Food Handler Certification and will require a criminal record check.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating guest bills
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and beverage service.
- Familiarity with bartending tools and equipment
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Proficiency in using a point of sale (POS) system for order processing and payment handling
- Understanding of the food and lounge industry, including different types of beverages and their preparation methods
- Excellent hospitality skills to provide a welcoming atmosphere for customers
- Exceptional customer service skills to interact with patrons in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with guests in a professional manner

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
