**Human Resources Generalist**

**Position Overview**:
At Triumph Express Service Canada Inc., we are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented and people-first focused individual to join our team as **Human Resources (HR) Generalist**. In this role you will support the Company through functions such as talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, employee relations, compensation, benefits administration, succession planning and performance management. We understand that our business thrives when our employees thrive and it begins with hiring the right Human Resources Generalist

**In this role, you will be accountable for**:

- Assisting in developing, updating as per legislative changes, and implementing HR procedures and policies, and providing guidance and interpretation for business operations.
- Providing a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to all employees that cover absenteeism, conduct and capability, organizational change, payroll concerns, interpersonal conflicts and all other employee-relations matters.
- Managing the talent acquisition and recruitment process and supporting hiring managers with their recruitment needs.
- Preparing paperwork and schedules for smooth new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day/first-week new hire experience.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable provincial and federal employment/labour laws, and updating policies and procedures when necessary.
- Organizing and managing the annual performance review program for employees.
- Negotiating benefit renewals and administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.
- Gathering and analyzing data with useful HR metrics like time to hire, turnover rate, etc.
- Suggesting new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of HR department and company.
- Managing all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintaining employee files and records in both electronic and paper forms.

**Qualifications for this role include**:

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business, or related field.
- 3 years of demonstrated experience as an HR Generalist within a warehouse environment.
- Logistics industry experience is an asset.
- Strong expertise in provincial and federal employment/labour laws.
- Aptitude for problem-solving.
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office programs, HRIS systems and has the ability to learn new technical systems when necessary.
- Exceptional business acumen and understands how to be a successful HR business partner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
- Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Shares a passion for HR with a results driven approach.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
