**The Opportunity**

Position: Project Controls and Project Management Specialist

Employment Type: Permanent

Location: Tiverton, Ontario

Department: Nuclear Materials Management - Ontario Nuclear Services

Reports to: Director, Ontario Nuclear Services

Hours per week: 40 (This is a shift work position. Shift workers may be assigned 8, 10 or 12 hour shift schedules. Overtime may be required).

**Accountabilities: How You Will Make an Impact**

As part of the Project team this position will provide project controls and project management support for the project. This position requires working closely with the Cost Analyst, engineering leads, project services personnel and contractors. A strong understanding of work break-down structures and coding as well as planning and scheduling, forecasting and change control processes is required
- Reporting to the Senior Director Ontario Nuclear Services (formerly KI- North)
- Work with Cost Analyst and Sr BA to ensure project costing provided aligns to schedule.
- Other duties as required - including providing backup to the Cost Analyst of Ki North as well as interact with the Senior Business Analyst as required
- Deliver and maintain weekly/monthly KPI dashboard updates for the program and business unit.
- Monitor and report on planned vs. actual costs.
- Prepare and manage the risk matrix for the business unit and lead weekly reviews with key stakeholders on the project.
- Attend weekly meetings with customer representative and report out on project spending, risks.
- Manage project budget and forecasting models with respect to cost and schedule.
- Prepare customer change order requests and process contract changes as required.
- Liaise with internal finance team to ensure accuracy and time delivery of project invoices.
- Oversee and manage dispute resolution processes regarding invoice submission.
- Oversee monthly and weekly cost accrual submission to the customer.
- Work with project team on P6 Schedule updates to ensure schedule accuracy.
- Ensure overall monthly reporting requirements are in line with contractual obligations with the customer.
- Perform other duties as required

**What You Need to Succeed**
- Completion of a 4-year university degree in business or equivalent
- A period of at least 4 years is considered necessary to gain this experience
- Requires highly effective skills in organization and planning
- Detail and goal-oriented
- Strong business computer skills
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project scheduling software and MS Excel
- Experience of working in an engineering consulting environment
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and have demonstrated a high commitment to quality.
