**Job Description**:
The National Sales, Operations, and Fulfillment Leader of Canada has responsibility for all Commercial and Fulfillment/Operations activities for the business. Commercial responsibilities include developing and implementing successful go-to-market strategies that drive profitable top-line growth by building customer loyalty, increasing specification share, increasing channel strength, price management and sustaining a strong sales rep organization. Fulfillment/Operations responsibilities include: planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all activities related to order fulfillment, wholesaler stock positioning, Warehouse Operations and Safety, Inventory Control & Quality Assurance, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, and Operations Support Administration. The position is responsible for deploying the strategic sales plan to grow the Zurn businesses throughout all of Canada and will be based out of the GTA (Greater Toronto Area).
**Key Accountabilities**
- Directs and oversees organization's sales policies, objectives, and initiatives.
- Responsible for achieving the annual sales quota and profitability goals for all product lines.
- Instructs and counsels Area/Territory Managers to drive the strategic breakthrough activities within their territory while creating capability and capacity with each sales agent.
- Assess product line sales performance and strategic KPI’s with Area/Territory Managers on monthly basis, including development of forward-looking product demand forecasts (SIOP).
- Continually monitor rep effectiveness against prior year and regional competitors, communicating competitive movements to sales and product management teams.
- Proactively communicates countermeasure actions if annual sales quota or KPI’s are below threshold measurements.
- Work closely with the Zurn Independent Sales Rep Agencies to understand and align their organization’s short term and long-term business plans with Zurn.
- Direct the price management process which includes value selling, implementation, market pricing, rebate programs, and profitability strategies.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop strategic breakthrough sales strategies in conjunction with product management tailored to market conditions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with major customers, including conflict resolution.
- Identify and prioritize strategic conversion opportunities with Contractor and Distribution teams.
- Assess and measure rebate effectiveness with contractors and distributors.
- Owns and drives the Zurn CRM project funnel, ensuring predictability and ability to forecast the future sales.
- Coordinates and collaborates with the sales team to maximize activities that drive growth, spec. share and customer loyalty.
- Committed to continuous improvement and advocates the Zurn core values and principles.
- Develops and executes a market-driven strategy focused on identifying revenue-growth (with particular emphasis on international markets), and market-share gain opportunities, and ultimately positioning the business for accelerated competitive advantage
- This position manages, develops, and motivates the staff and builds the department through the proper selection, training, guidance, and reviews of individual performance and also makes appropriate compensation related recommendations.
- Develops and manages the overall commercial and fulfillment/operations budget.
- Responsible for the development of goals and objectives for the staff in accordance with Zurn Water Solution’s mission, vision, and values and cascaded performance objectives.
- Provides leadership focused on maintaining a lean, talented and aggressive team that is highly focused on delivering results.
- Engages supply chain team to drive efficiency and assess opportunities to reduce cost, taking aggressive action to drive financial performance
- Leads regular operating and strategy deployment reviews to ensure attainment of results and a sense of urgency with respect to ZBS and commercial growth priorities.
- Ensures operating metrics and key performance indicator systems are consistently tracking the appropriate measures and provoking appropriate responsive behavior
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree; preferably in business administration/management
- Proven 10 years sales and operations management/technical experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to travel up to 50% of the time to achieve annual sales goals.
