TMMP operates out of Sparwood, BC, serving the construction and mining industry in the BC East Kootenay and Southern Alberta regions. Your role as a**Bookkeeper/Accounting Technician** will involve managing financial records, contributing to our operational efficiency, and supporting the financial systems of our expanding company.

As part of our team, you will support a broad range of operations, including financial management for a fleet of heavy-duty construction and mining equipment. The position offers the opportunity to reside in the Elk Valley (BC) or Crowsnest Pass (AB), areas known for their outdoor activities and mountainous landscapes.

**Responsibilities**:
In this position you will report to the Controller and work with the administrative team to manage day-to-day financial operations of TMMP's business. Responsibilities will include items such as:

- Accounting system management and record keeping
- Vendor and customer setup/management
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Bank reconciliation
- Payroll
- Month-end
- Tax filings

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Secondary (high) school diploma
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel
- Proficiency with accounting programs and ERP systems, especially QuickBooks
- Three (3) or more years of experience preferred
- A post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in accounting or other related fields of finance is considered an asset

**Job Type**:

- Full-time, permanent

**Schedule**:

- 5x2, Monday to Friday
- Business hours; 7:30AM - 4:30PM
- Periodic WFH available as required

- $50,000 - $90,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
