Reporting to the Operations Manager, the **Operations Support Specialist** is a member of the One Robertson team and supports the operational functions.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Operations Support**:
Assists the Manager with ongoing scheduling changes (as needed), ensures schedule is current and proactively completed.

Collaborate with Workforce team to ensure instructor coverage for practicums

Ensure courses assigned are tracked and recorded accurately

Assist with re-enrollment schedules for students receiving PLAR (prior learning assessment)

Ensure instructors are enrolled in the learning environment ahead of course start dates

Coordinate with School of Business for Core class instructor needs

Ensures the centralized textbook database is kept current.

Works with the Academic Support to ensure e-book and/or hardcopy textbooks are available for students.

Manages purchase orders, with approval from the Director, for class supplies Accurately and effectively communicates operational feedback to internal and external departments.

Develops and maintains processes for the School of Health as required

Works on projects and reports as needed by the Operations Manager Participation in College, Division, and Program Activities

Attends departmental meetings

Participates proactively in performance appraisals.

Supports active interdepartmental cooperation with other departments such as Admissions, Financial Aid, Practicum and Career Services.

Shared duties of covering the reception desk (2 - 3 days a week); greeting clients, answering phones, and ensuring everyone entering campus is complying to COVID regulations.

Performs other duties/participates in special projects as assigned.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**

Post-secondary education an asset

Five years administrative experience required

Strong communication and customer services skills and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with students and team members.

Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Highly self-motivated and self-directed; objective-oriented with a high-level attention to detail.

Strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.

Detail oriented

Ability to work with a team to achieve goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong computer and digital literacy skills.

Ability to work in a diverse, inclusive environment.

A clear criminal records check
