Playground is rapidly expanding and is currently seeking an experienced, reliable and hard-working **_Facilities _**_Technician_** to join our dynamic team. We offer a great work environment and competitive compensation based on experience. Preference will be given to tradesmen/tradeswomen (plaster specialists, carpenters, electricians, HVAC, etc.).

Since its opening in 2010, Playground has experienced immense popularity with local and international players alike. Playground is conveniently located just minutes south of downtown Montreal in the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake. The Playground Complex is currently excited to reopen its poker tables (respecting COVID-capacity rules), while also offering a selection of over 600 Electronic Gaming Devices (slots). In addition, Playground includes an inviting and locally renowned restaurant The Rail Coal Fire Bistro.

The **_Facilities _**_Technician_**_ _**will be responsible for various maintenance duties including completing service requests such as carrying out inspections, troubleshooting, general repairs, dry walling, painting, installations and follow ups. To succeed in this position you must be a strong team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

**_ Schedule: Full-time 2PM-10PM or 10PM-6AM (weekday & weekend availability required)_**

**_ Competitive hourly wage based on experience starting at _**_$23.00 per hour_**

**Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following**:

- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Handle repairs and maintenance
- Oversee contractors in occasions when professional repairs or servicing is necessary
- Identify and diagnose mechanical issues and correct them
- Repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary

**Requirements**:

- Bilingual French and English (an asset) and must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects repeatedly as required
- Proven experience in a similar role (maintenance repairs in plumbing, electrical, painting and renovations)
- Related degree from a technical college (an asset)
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
- High degree of competency using common hand and power tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, etc.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
- Experience performing routine maintenance
- Strong organisational and follow up skills, detail-oriented
- Professional presentation and attitude
- Ability to maintain focus while working autonomously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Le Complexe Playground est actuellement ravi de rouvrir ses tables de poker (en respectant les règles de capacité COVID), tout en offrant une sélection de plus de 600 Appareils de Jeux électroniques (machines à sous). En outre, le terrain de jeu comprend un restaurant accueillant et renommé localement, Le Rail Coal Fire Bistro.

Le **_technicien d'installations_** sera responsable de diverses tâches d'entretien, y compris l'exécution des demandes de service telles que la réalisation d'inspections, le dépannage, les réparations générales, le murage à sec, la peinture, les installations et les suivis. Pour réussir à ce poste, vous devez être un solide joueur d'équipe et avoir d'excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et de communication.

**Horaire **:Temps plein : de 14 h à 22 h ou de 22 h à 6 h (_disponibilité requise en semaine et en fin de semaine_).

**_ Salaire horaire compétitif en fonction de l'expérience à partir de 23.00$ de l'heure_**

**Les responsabilités comprendront, sans s'y limiter, les éléments suivants**:

- Effectuer des inspections de routine des locaux et de l'équipement
- Effectuer un entretien préventif
- Gérer les réparations et l'entretien
- Superviser les entrepreneurs dans les cas où des réparations ou un entretien professionnels sont nécessaires
- Identifier et diagnostiquer les problèmes mécaniques et les corriger
- Réparer des machines, des équipements ou des structures au besoin
