**Early Childhood Educator**

**Description of role and responsibilities**:The Early Childhood Educator - Bumble Bear works in the full day 3-5 year old program at Kitsilano Neighbourhood House. As a part of a diverse teaching team you will be co-responsible for developing and maintaining a quality childcare program inspired by Reggio Emilia philosophies. This includes curriculum design, program planning and delivery, communication with families and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in the program.

**Hours**:35 hours week between the hours of 7am-6pm

**Rate**:From$20.29 to $22.88/hr plus $4/hr ECE Wage Enhancement for those who qualify

**Qualifications Required**:

- Valid ECE or ECA license
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Criminal Record Check
- Minimum 1 year experience in licensed childcare
- Minimum age 19 years (as per licensing regulations)
