**Job Description: Early Childhood Educator at Quadra Daycare**

Quadra Daycare is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team.
As an ECE at Quadra Daycare, you will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children in our care. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and possess the necessary qualifications and skills to excel in this role.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid ECE license to work in British Columbia (mandatory)
- First aid and CPR certificate (valid)
- A clear and current criminal record check
- Character references
- Current resume with education and employment history
- Physician Health Certificate. Compliance with BC immunization control programs
- Be legally allowed to work in Canada

**Required Experience**:

- Knowledge of the Early Learning Framework
- Strong planning skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Flexibility to work rotational shifts
- Willingness to engage in the development and implementation of special events and celebrations hosted by Quadra Daycare
- Demonstrated creativity, initiative, and enthusiasm

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Attend to the daily needs of the children in care
- Create a comfortable and caring atmosphere where each child feels happy, secure, and loved
- Adhere to Quadra Daycare's policies and procedures
- Collaborate effectively with the rest of the staff in the best interest of the children
- Regularly post and document activities following the Early Learning Framework guidelines

**Pay & Benefits**:

- Wage: $22.72 per hour
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week (permanent full-time)
- Wage enhancement for fully licensed ECE ($4 per hour)
