Under the supervision of the Production Chef and School Administrator, provides assistance to

maintain an efficient and effective working kitchen, assists with demonstrating kitchen skills to students

and responsible for cash register and cash handling operations and procedures.***

**FTE/HRS**:

- 4 hours per day, 10:00am to 2:00 pm
- Monday - Friday

**Start Date**: Immediate

**End Date**:March 10, 2023***

(possibility of extension)

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Grade XII or equivalent
- Food Safe Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience with food preparation
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Six (6) months recent previous related experience preferred
- Knowledgeable regarding proper food safety, sanitation and preparation procedures
- Knowledge and ability to operate and balance cash register, including collection of monies

from vending machines, sales etc.
- Ability to interact well with others including public
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable when working with students and receiving

direction.
