Dental practice in Kanata is searching for a passionate and dedicated Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The position entails work on a full-time basis, Mondays to Thursdays from 8AM to 5PM, and half day on Fridays.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet patients and make them feel welcome at the practice
- Schedule patients into the timetable in an efficient manner, optimizing for staff time
- Register new patients according to practice policy and assist patients to complete all required documents
- Maintain patient relationships both in person and through online communication
- Answer the phone in a professional manner and make scheduled appointment reminder calls
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace around the front desk and reception area
- Process payments after appointments and accurately record insurance information
- Monitor office supplies and put in orders as needed
- Compile daily deposit summary at the end of the work day

**Qualifications**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Ability to type fast
- Multitasking qualities

**Preferred past experience in**
- Using dental patient management systems
- Working in dental clinics
