**Position Overview**:
The Technical Service Representative acts as liaison between external clients and the company sales, design, production, and shipping teams. In addition to engaging in sales activities, they are required to provide information, service, and coordination support with internal departments. The Technical Service Representative should have a strongunderstanding of the products and services we offer and the ability to explain use cases, install methods and best practices. This position will report to the Technical Service Manager. As a team, we strive to help drive sales to meet or exceed company goals and budgets by serving customers in a professional manner.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Ø Develop and maintain rapport with existing and prospective customers.

Ø Consult with external customers to establish their needs and determine appropriate building solutions

Ø Provide product knowledge to customers and ensure a positive customer service experience.

Ø Provide quotes and process sales ensuring all processes and deadlines are met.

Ø Communicate with production manager to make certain accuracy of production schedule

Ø Respond to designer and production queries.

Ø Engage in monthly inventory process

Ø Managing of special orders

Ø Ability to break down technical terminology to non-technical clients

Ø Attend and participate in weekly sales meetings.

Ø Provide service for the sales counter and walk-in customers.

Ø Assist in the design process as required.

Ø Contribute to growing the customer base of All-Fab.

Ø Order intake and data entry

Ø Managing orders from intake to shipping

Ø Maintaining order schedules

Ø Attend industry related events, tradeshows, etc.

**Education & Experience**

Ø Diploma or certificate from a technical college or design school (Asset)

Ø Experience in engineered wood product sales for both roof and floor systems (Asset)

Ø Truss or EWP sales experience (Asset)

Ø Truss assembly or manufacturing experience (Asset)

Ø On site construction experience (Asset)

Ø Knowledge of engineered wood products and floor systems (Asset)

Ø Knowledge of Roof truss systems (Asset)

Ø Knowledge of engineering, layout software, and cost reporting. (Asset)

Ø Knowledge of structural engineering concepts (Asset)

Ø Experience with MiTek design software (Asset)

Ø Experience with Microsoft 365 software (Asset)

Ø Residential and Commercial Contractors

Ø Lumberyards

Ø Business and Homeowners

Ø Outside Designers, Engineers and Architects

Ø Internal customers (sales, design, production, shipping, accounting)

**Degrees/Certificates and licenses**:
Ø Valid class 5 driver’s license

**Safety**:
Ø Understand and follow company Health and Safety Policies and procedures

Ø Wear PPE as appropriate while in office, shop, yard or at jobsites

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
