Edmonton, Canada Sturgeon School Division Full time

Located in the Sturgeon Public Schools Central Office, Morinville Learning Centre serves students in Grades 8-12 needing one on one tutoring, upgrading, or need to repeat a course. Attendance and work completion schedules are flexible and designed to meet the individual needs of the students.

**FTE**: 1.0 FTE; 32.5 hrs/week; Monday to Friday; Full-Time Temporary

**Initial Assignment**: Under the direction of the classroom teacher, the Educational Assistant will assist in academics, regulation, and organization.

**Duties**:

- Daily support working one-on-one with individuals and small groups
- Assist with field trip organization
- Monitor and report students progress with classroom teachers
- Assist Admin Assistant and perform other duties as assigned by the Principal

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Educational Assistant or Early Childhood certificate or diploma.
- Experience working with students with varying abilities, academic levels and behaviors
- Basic or Intermediate First Aid and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training or equivalent
- Equivalencies that consist of a combination of education, knowledge, skills and abilities to formal education requirements may be considered

**Hourly Rate**: $18.82 - $23.57 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.

**Salary**: $18.82-$23.57 per hour
