Rep Basketball Coach for Girl's Team

17 Basketball Club offers structured and accessible recreational, educational, and basketball academy services to the youth in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Ontario. Currently, the club serves youths between the ages of 5 and 14 through weekly programs, participation in the Rep team, and involvement in the house league. The primary objective is to support and assist youth from diverse multicultural backgrounds within the community.
- Exhibit a sense of pride in their work and demonstrate leadership qualities.
- Punctuality, wearing the coach T-shirt, and maintaining a positive attitude are essential.
- Treat every child with the same care and consideration as one would treat a close friend or family member.
- Act as ambassadors of the club while inside and outside the gym.
- Provide regular progress reports to parents and the head coach regarding the team's performance each week.
- Plan and conduct two practices per week, typically scheduled for weeknight evenings and/or weekends.
- Coach an average of 4-6 games per month during the season.
- Take responsibility for the safety and well-being of each player.

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in coaching youth basketball teams or receiving relevant awards in the sport of basketball.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client relations skills.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- First aid and CPR certification are mandatory.
- Possession of NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) is considered an asset.

**Salary**
- Hourly rate between $22.00 and $27.00.
- A $50 gas subsidy will be provided for games that require travel outside the city.
- Significant bonuses will be rewarded for teams achieving a top-three position in the league.

**Job Types and Hours**
- Part-time position.
- Involves at least 2 practices per week and 4-6 games per month.
- Interested individuals can opt for an additional 10-12 hours per week as a coach assistant for recreational training programs at the same rate.

**Salary**: $22.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
