The Warehouse Supervisor directs and oversees the functions of warehouse employees and assists in both the administrative and operational responsibilities as and when required. This position also requires the individual to work in a dynamic environment and exercise prompt decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

**Shift Available: Afternoons - 3pm-11pm, Monday-Friday**

**Essential Functions & Responsibilities**:

- Scheduling and supervising the activities and the functions of the warehouse team
- Assigning daily tasks and evaluating the work of their direct reports.
- Ensuring the proper and timely completion of all warehouse activities.
- Participate in quality planning as well as developing and maintaining a continuous improvement culture in the warehouse.
- Informs Warehouse Manager and Transportation team when a truck is late (after 1 hour loading window), delayed or does not show up.
- Inspecting and overseeing the inventory records of the warehouse for accuracy, in combination with keeping track of all inbound and outbound supplies.
- Makes inventory and evaluation reports pertaining to the warehouse.
- Ensures the Brimich HACCP and SQF Programs within the warehouse environment are followed and maintained.
- Supervises the daily shipping and receiving of product and ensures adherence to shipping and labeling functions as per customer requirements
- New hire training and onboarding for those assigned to your shift
- Cross trained to cover off other warehouse responsibilities as required
- Performs other duties as required by management.

**Health and Safety**
- Responsible to ensure company safety policies are adhered to and safe work habits are utilized by everyone.
- Understands, in compliance of and observes standards of the OHS&A, Environmental and Health/Safety management systems, policies, rules, and guidelines.
- Takes every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the protection of a worker.
- Performing regular workplace inspections, conducting/participating in safety talks,
- Actively participates in accident/incident investigations
- Identifying and correcting unsafe acts or conditions
- Proper use and wear of personal protective equipment
- Regularly inspects and ensures the maintenance and safety of all warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Wears personal protective equipment as required at all times.

**Job Specifications—Education, Experience, Skills and Competencies**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehousing facility activities at a Supervisory level.
- Diploma in supply chain management, general administration from a certified college, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to effectively lead a team, delegate, supervise functions and keep employees motivated.
- Must have strong interpersonal, conciliation and communication (oral, written & listening) skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to problem solve
- Must have efficient organizational skills, be a self-starter and a team player.
- Responsible for promoting and seeking excellence in all aspects of business.
- Experience with a WMS and proficient computer skills with knowledge of bar coding systems and MS Office Suite.
- Stand-up Reach truck experience preferred.
- Knowledge of safety standards
- Capable of working in refrigerated environment (2-4 degrees Celsius)

- First Aid & CPR level A with AED
