**About us**

Solar Direct Canada is a small business in Greater Toronto Area, ON. We are agile, innovative, nimble, and our goal is to provide highest the quality service to the solar customer market across Southern Ontario. We service the systems we install, as well as customers whose installers are unable.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install solar panels on roofs or other structures using proper cabling and electrical connections under the supervision of experienced installers.
- Onsite training provided.
- Perform utility locating to identify potential hazards and ensure safe installation of solar panels. Service and retrofit existing PV systems.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assemble and rig solar panel systems
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for installation and transportation of materials

**Skills**:

- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights for extended periods of time
- Proficiency in electrical work related to solar panel installation
- Mechanical knowledge for assembling and rigging solar panel systems
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as cranes or forklifts is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $23.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 48 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Greater Toronto Area, ON (required)

Work Location: In person
