Common Ground Consulting is a land development consulting and project management firm. We work closely with developers, industry professionals and municipalities to deliver land development projects efficiently and feasibly.

We're looking for a Project Coordinator who shares our passion for efficiency and top-notch project delivery to join our team of civil engineers and project managers.

Role Overview: As a project coordinator, you will help manage multiple projects in our pipeline. With guidance from senior management, you'll play a crucial role in moving projects forward. This means being diligent, finding solutions, managing risks, paying close attention to details, and providing creative solutions. You'll be involved in all project phases, from evaluating acquisitions to managing the development process and reporting to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Working with management to communicate the project vision to stakeholders and the public.
- Assisting in developing, tracking, and presenting project budgets and schedules to management and clients.
- Updating clients on project progress and aiding in fulfilling project requirements.
- Staying updated on planning policies, industry trends, and developments.
- Providing insights for potential client acquisitions, including planning, risk assessment, and market research.
- Building professional relationships with partners, municipal staff, and local stakeholders.
- Coordinating and following up with city staff and sub-consultants.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Skilled in reviewing design drawings and preparing accompanying project documentation.
- Eager to learn and familiarize themselves with company and municipal processes as well as land development industry trends.
- History of working well with stakeholders, including city staff.
- Knowledge of financial analysis is an added asset.
- Handles pressure, manages time, and prioritizes effectively.
- Experience in planning, engineering, or real estate development is preferred but not required.

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Surrey, BC V3Z 0Z5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
