**The Opportunity**

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a driven **Sales & Rentals Representative** to join our team in **Calgary, Alberta**. As the Sales & Rentals Representative, you will have the ability to grow the construction customer base surrounding Calgary. This position offers a significant opportunity for career growth and advancement for an equipment sales professional.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

As the Sales & Rentals Representative your key responsibilities will include:

- Leading the overall sales and rental strategy and managing the related sales plan for your assigned territory
- Developing business relationships with top customer accounts by identifying sales opportunities and presenting innovative solutions to customers
- Managing target customer accounts, including prospecting and following up on sales leads
- Identifying and building relationships with decision makers within existing accounts, developing an ongoing relationship strategy and establishing Leavitt Machinery as a trusted advisor
- Turning leads into sales, including successfully negotiating pricing and closing deals
- Providing input for the successful management of target customer opportunities while ensuring alignment with the overall account strategy
- Coordinating with product experts to identify and capitalize on expansion and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
- Conducting follow-ups with customers regarding orders, quotes, and services requested

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- 2-3 years of prior experience in B2B sales is considered a strong asset
- Post-secondary education in Sales, Business Management, or a related discipline preferred
- Construction or material handling industry knowledge considered an asset
- Strong relationship-building skills, negotiation skills, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills and a genuine interest in identifying and presenting innovative solutions to customers
- Personable and confident with a willingness to be coached and continuously learn and grow
- Excellent organizational skills and planning skills, as well as the ability to work effectively independently and as a part of a team
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel
- Previous experience working with a CRM system considered an asset
- Maintaining a valid driver’s license is required
- Ability to travel within the region as needed

The base pay range for this role is: $40,000 annually plus uncapped commission and initial $30,000 bridge salary for first year of employment (OTE ~$100,000 in the first year).
