The Vancouver Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club (“the Club”) is the city’s premier racquets, fitness, and social Club. Located just a few minutes from downtown, the Club offers exceptional tennis, badminton, squash, fitness and aquatics programming for over 4,000 members, along with a variety of social events with upscale-casual dining in 3 restaurants.

We are currently recruiting for a Full-time **Housekeeper **to join our team This position is required for afternoon and evenings as well as weekend shifts from 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm.

**Wage: $20.92 per hour**

**ABOUT THE POSITION**

We pride ourselves to provide effective and high quality service to our members. We look for individuals who are committed team players and can be relied upon by others. The main duties include:

- Cleaning and sanitizing women's washrooms, locker rooms, including showers, vanities, toilets and dusting ledges
- Dusting and vacuuming public spaces
- Glass cleaning
- Washing of towels, moving to dryers, folding and restocking
- Cleaning of Squash Courts
- Emptying Garbage
- Assisting in setting up functions (moving furniture)

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 1 to 2 years' janitorial / cleaning experience
- Previous experience working in a private club or hotel an asset
- Important that you are organized and able to multi-task
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 20-30 lbs
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts an asset
- Positive and hardworking attitude, reliable and can be counted on
