**About the position**

Reporting to the Manager of Counselling Programs, the Clinical Supervisor provides clinical support to the Rooted Connections Counselling Program and team including counsellors and practicum students across various counselling programs, ensuring the highest standards of quality, effectiveness, and efficiency and practicum students. The Clinical Supervisor will host counselling sessions within a variety of counselling streams. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for promoting and fostering systems change through growing the mission and vision of the organization and ensuring that the counselling programs and services meet the organization’s core values and fiscal, ethical, and legal responsibilities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide clinical supervision and oversite of the counselling team, programs, and services.
- Offer clinical supervision to counselling staff in an ad hoc and regular schedule.
- Supervise practicum or intern students and coordinate student requests, working as a team with other counselling staff in their supervision duties.
- Collaborate with the leadership team in onboarding and training counselling staff.
- Develop clinical policies and procedures to uphold best-practice service delivery standards.
- Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing the Partners for Change Outcome Management System (PCOMS) and leverage PCOMS data in team supervision for continuous service evaluation.
- Ensure counselling staff receive appropriate training and professional development opportunities according to the goals of the organization.
- Provide direct counselling services to various counselling program streams.
- Ensure regular peer supervision and case consultations align with organization objectives, promoting a culture of learning and collaboration.
- Ensure ongoing evaluation of counselling programs and services to ensure deliverables align with the organization’s performance and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and support practicum students.

**Key Requirements**
- The Clinical Supervisor must have completed one of the following from a reputable university: a MSW or MA in clinical or counselling psychology, MEd in counselling psychology.
- Membership in good standing in a recognized accrediting body
- Minimum 5 years of direct client work experience
- Advanced clinical supervisory skills and familiarity with a broad range of therapeutic approaches to clinical practice
- Experience in program proposals, service plans and reports, data and statistical collection and program delivery
- Experience working effectively with funders and community partners
- Solid leadership skills including strong coaching and mentoring skills, and be a strong team player
- Excellent decision making and conflict resolution abilities
- Superior oral and written communications skills
- Goal oriented, highly organized, flexible and adaptable with superior time management skills
- Proven experience in serving diverse communities would be a definite asset
- Strong computer skills - proficiency in MS Word, Excel and data base usage
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Demonstrated efforts to continuously update skills

**Salary**: $37.36-$45.60 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
