Tree Tops Daycare believes every child deserves a chance to explore the world around them and enjoy the natural curiosities the world has to offer. **We are looking for a teacher that**:

**Requirements**:

- Must have their ECE certificate and understand how to implement it into the classroom.
- Must have minimum 4 years experience as a ECE educator
- Communicates with the children affectively and respectfully
- Ability to redirect and problem solve
- Organized and has good time management skills
- Responsible and reliable
- First Aid Training: CPR and AED level C
- Criminal record/vulnerable sector check and social development check
- Own means of transportation
- Commitments to child’s learning and well being
- Ensure quality care to all children

**Duties**:

- Educators are responsible for the supervision and safety of the children at all times.
- Educators are responsible for providing the children with a variety of developmentally appropriate activities throughout the day.
- Activities need to scaffold their learning based on the NB Curriculum Framework.
- Educators are expected to utilize their training in all aspects of the curriculum and their routine
- Models’ appropriate behavior and practices positive child guidance
- Ability to document the children’s learning
- Able to redirect and manage big emotions
- Ability to being a play partner with the children
- Supports and practices inclusion
- Able to modify the classroom/planning to support the needs of each child and diverse students
- Ensures that confidentiality is always maintained
- Understands and complies with: New Brunswick Childcare Facilities Standards, Family Service Act, Child Abuse and Neglect Protocol Practices
- Understands and complies with New Brunswick Curriculum Frame work and the Tree Tops Daycare philosophy.
- Participates in professional development to provide quality care
- Maintains a positive and friendly working environment
- Maintains positive and friendly relationships with staff, families and the children
- Ensures all documentation are completed correctly and adhere to record keeping as outlined by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.

Pay: $16.47-$25.35 per hour

Schedule:

- 8.5 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Education: ECE (required)

Experience: Teaching (required)

Pay: $22.79-$25.35 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
