Reporting to the Controller of the Culinary Group, the Assistant Controller will assist with the day to day full-cycle accounting functions for all companies in the Pb Culinary Group, including but not limited to, Creekside Custom Foods and Duso’s Enterprises. The Assistant Controller will ensure that the general ledgers are maintained in accordance with IFRS and will comply with all other regulations required by publicly traded companies. This role will also assist with the preparation of stand-alone analytics for each company at each period end, as well as other reporting requirements as prescribed by Premium Brands corporate office and various regulatory agencies.

- Responsible for day to day full-cycle accounting including period and costing.
- Generate financial statements and other periods for senior management to review and approve.
- Ensure reconciliation of all General Ledger accounts, GL vs Subledgers, and period analytics.
- Cost, Variance, and Profit/Loss analysis of products being produced/sold.
- Prepare various weekly, monthly, and periodic KPI reports.
- Manger Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables.
- Investigate and justify inventory movements and costs discrepancies.
- Update and maintain continuity schedules (prepaid accounts, deposits, leases, etc.)
- Maintain the fixed asset registers (asset additions, transfers from WIP/CIP, disposals)
- Inter-company reconciliations and billing.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Assist with regulatory and other corporate reporting (CDC, ESG).
- Other accounting/analysis tasks as requested by the Controller or CFO.

- Accounting or Finance undergrad degree.
- Enrolled or nearly completing professional accounting qualification (CPA).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with account analysis and reconciliation
- Knowledge of payroll processing and payroll tax regulations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
