**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Sterilization Technician to join our dental practice. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained, adhering to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Your job will including turning over opratories and maintenance of equipment. Your contributions will play a vital role in providing a safe environment for both patients and staff.
**Duties**
- Perform sterilization procedures on dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in the organization and inventory management of dental supplies.
- Support the dental team by preparing treatment areas and ensuring that all necessary instruments are available.
- Monitor sterilization equipment for proper function and report any issues promptly.
- Follow infection control protocols to minimize the risk of contamination.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure a smooth workflow in the clinic.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred, particularly in sterilization or assisting roles.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Knowledge of dental software such as Dentrix is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and staff professionally.
- Certification in Dental Assisting or related field is desirable but not mandatory.
