Ea2 Ochre Park

Located in the Town of Redwater, Ochre Park School is serves the Headstart program to Grade 4 school with approximately 200 students. With excellent academic programs, the school also offers a range of programs for students including Headstart, inclusive classrooms, WITS Anti-bullying, Student Leadership Program, Community Engagement Programs, Religion and Character Education. Parents and community are involved with staff in the learning process, providing students with a true atmosphere of “Learning Together”.

**FTE**:1.0 FTE; 32.5 hrs/week; 6.5 hrs/day; Full-Time Permanent

**Initial Assignment**:Under the direction of the classroom teacher, the Educational Assistant will work in an Elementary classroom.

**Qualifications & Experience**:
Teacher’s Aid Certificate/Diploma; CPR and First Aid are desirable. Preference given to applicants with experience and training with primary school age students with Behaviors and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training. Equivalencies that consist of a combination of education, knowledge, skills and abilities to formal education requirements may be considered.

**Hourly Rate**:$18.82 - $23.57 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
