**Major Duties**:

- Gathering and interpreting data from a variety of sources to help answer strategic questions.
- Analyzing and synthesizing data to create insights and perspectives on customer demographics, purchasing behavior, and market trends.
- Discovering new sources of high-quality data to generate insights that can impact our business.
- Conducting market research to identify new opportunities for products or services.
- Identifying attractive and fast-growing new verticals based on market research and insights.
- Developing market models (“Mekkos”) based on insights from customers, market trends, competitors and technology trends.
- Contributing data and insight into our competitive intelligence as an input into opportunity strategy and company growth strategy.
- Identifying potential customer accounts and contacts based on firmographics, demographics and psychographics and behavior.
- Monitoring online media for mentions of the company or its competitors by consumers or industry analysts.
- Recommending changes to existing offers or creating new offers to capture market demand.
- Measuring the success of marketing campaigns through analysis of campaign results and customer feedback.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- A BA degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Professional qualifications or certifications can be helpful.
- MA or another graduate degree would be an advantage.

**Experience**:

- Combined 3+ years of experience.
- Experience with market research and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Proven success working in a team environment
