As Manager, Scheduling - your primary role will be to lead the optimization and implementation of the near to medium term flight schedule for both the E195 E2 and Dash 8 fleets. - Guide and support optimization and quality assurance of near to medium term flight schedules, ensuring alignment with commercial, operational, CSAT, and NPS goals.
- Lead, develop, and mentor the commercial schedule team, fostering a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
- Standardize processes for optimizing schedules for commercial timings, connections, and operational constraints.
- Establish and drive timelines for weekly, monthly and seasonal planning.
- Guide analysis of short and medium term schedule capacity adjustments.
- Work closely with internal teams (Crew Planning & Scheduling, Airport Operations, Maintenance, Revenue Management) for informed decision-making and goal achievement.
- Proactively identify and implement enhancements to the flight schedule, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure timely and standardized communication of schedules to relevant departments and external stakeholders.
- Develop and administer training for scheduling software across key departments, promoting informed planning decisions.
- Analyze competitor schedules, provide schedule analysis, and contribute to short and medium-term planning initiatives.
- Collaborate on charter opportunities and support codeshare/interline partnerships from a scheduling and planning perspective.
- Lead the management of PD slot portfolio for the near to medium term.
- Utilize SQL queries and Tableau for in-depth analysis and reporting.
- Create compelling presentations on Microsoft Powerpoint and Google Slides to communicate scheduling/planning objectives and achievements.
- Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years in an airline Network Planning Senior Analyst or Manager role.
- Experience with Zulu, Sabre, Optym, or other Network Planning software is an asset.
- Previous slot experience at level 2 and 3 airports is considered an asset.
- Ability to lead, develop, and coach a fast-growing team.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with high volumes of information.
- Tools: Experience with Google Slides or Microsoft Powerpoint is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in SQL and Tableau is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with Airline/Airport Operations is considered an asset.
- Minimum undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business, Engineering, or similar technical proficiency (relevant airline experience included).
