Our team of > 150 prints a diverse suite of products including business cards, brochures, magazines, annual reports, presentation folders, retail signage, banners, posters, window wraps, and corrugate POP and POS displays.

**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bindery Manager to lead our bindery and finishing department. The Bindery Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing our bindery operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and timely delivery. This is an opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a significant impact and contribute to the success of our growing company.

**Responsibilities**:
**Bindery Operations**: Manage and optimize all aspects of the bindery and finishing process, including cutting, folding, stitching, and other finishing processes to meet production goals and quality standards.

**Team Leadership**: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of bindery staff, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to excel.

**Quality Control**: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that finished printed materials meet or exceed customer expectations.

**Scheduling**: Develop and manage bindery production schedules to meet customer deadlines and minimize downtime.

**Inventory Management**: Oversee inventory levels of finishing supplies and consumables, ensuring the availability of required materials.

**Cost Control**: Implement cost-effective bindery production strategies, monitor expenses, and identify areas for improvement.

**Maintenance and Equipment**: Ensure that bindery equipment is properly maintained, serviced, and repaired as needed to maintain optimal functionality.

**Safety**: Ensure compliance with safety regulations in the bindery department, creating a safe working environment for all employees.

**Process Improvement**: Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement, automation, and increased efficiency in bindery operations.

**About You**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in bindery and finishing operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of bindery equipment, finishing techniques, and quality control in print production.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of cost-effective bindery production strategies.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology used in bindery operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
