**HR Co-op Job Description**

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Inputting and uploading data into our employee data base system: IBEX
- Participating in the recruitment process and assisting in the coordination of the orientation process. This includes interview scheduling, completing employment reference checks and tracking/uploading recruitment and onboarding documents.
- Assist with various training and development initiatives and projects
- Research best practices/new recruitment trends
- HR administration and support work as required, such as personnel filing, data entry, and record keeping.

**Basic/Essential Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in related field and currently enrolment in HR program
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Demonstrated computer knowledge that is necessary to be successful in a remote work environment (Excel, Word, Microsoft O365)
- Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to utilize your given resources
- Strong customer focus and consultative skills
- Demonstrated ability for strategic thinking, a collaborative attitude, and professional demeanour.

Location: Alliston, Ontario

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2024-05-06
