The Rural Municipality of Brokenhead is a rural/urban municipality which offers affordable family living with proximity to the City of Winnipeg and Lake Country.

This position is often the municipality's first exposure to the public and its courteous and friendly manner along with the individual's knowledge of the municipality and its operations are critical to the establishment of a positive image for the Rural Municipality of Brokenhead.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Answering phones and referring all incoming calls to the appropriate department
- Greeting visitors and providing them with general information and handling public complaints
- Receiving payment for taxes, utilities and other municipal charges and all related data entry and receipts, ensures all cash, cheques and data entry are processed with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy
- Provide information to utility account clients
- Prepare meter reading files for all routes for reading an import readings, review and post for billing purposes
- Generate and mail utility bills for all properties connected to the RM of Brokenhead utility system
