We are currently looking for a full time skilled **Service Technician** to join our dynamic and growing team.

**Position Summary**: As an experienced **Service Technician**, you will be responsible for handling hardware, doors, and moulding products, ensuring their proper installation and maintenance. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role to our production. This individual needs to have passion for craftsmanship and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

**Responsibilities**
- Install and service a variety of hardware, doors, and moulding products in residential and commercial buildings.
- Conduct on-site assessments to determine the appropriate installation methods and requirements.
- Measure and cut materials to fit specific dimensions and specifications.
- Install and align doors, hinges, locks, handles, and other hardware components.
- Ensure proper functioning of installed products and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and installation techniques.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Operational Tasks**:
**Field Work**:

- Conduct inspections to verify door openings, railing measurements, and house readiness.
- Remove and reinstall baseboard, casing, and other trims.
- Adjust swing doors, pocket doors, bifold doors (including knobs, tracks, guides, and overall door level).
- Replace and adjust various door hardware and bathroom hardware.
- Perform minor woodworking tasks such as chiseling and routing doors.
- Conduct quality checks during installation and address any issues immediately, if possible.
- Handle minor service requests.
- Assist with the delivery of house packages.

**Warehouse**:

- Pick and load house packages.
- Restock materials.
- Cut wood materials using table saws and chop saws.
- Coordinate delivery and receiving from suppliers.

**Office and Coordination**:

- Communicate with the builder to ensure site readiness.
- Track the progress of sites and projects.
- Communicate with sub-contractors regarding site issues, material shortages, and challenges.
- Manage inventory in the warehouse.
- Document service requests.

**Qualifications**
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on carpentry experience, with a focus on finishing work;
- Valid driver's license with a clear driving record, enabling you to travel to and from project sites safely;
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications;
- Fall protection, first aid, WHMIS, forklift license an asset;
- Proficiency in woodworking tools, techniques, and materials used in finishing;
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics to deliver exceptional results;
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively;
- Problem-solving abilities to address challenges and ensure project success;
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and dedication to meeting deadlines;
- Ability to take initiative and work independently;
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
