Building a community of hope since 1987, we would like to invite you to join our journey. Siloam Mission is currently seeking for a permanent full-time Development Coordinator.

As a member of our Development team, the primary objective of the Development Coordinator will be to connect current and prospective individual, corporate, foundation and government supports to the important work, Mission, Vision and Values of Siloam Mission.

The Development Coordinator will report to the Development Supervisor and will work in tandem with them to cultivate, solicit, and steward mid-level, and legacy donors, as well as to identify grant opportunities and major donor prospects.

**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Implement recognition and stewardship strategies that align with Siloam Mission's policies and procedures;
- Creatively collaborate with colleagues to research and solicit gifts-in-king from a board range of sources;
- Research and identify prioritized prospects for legacy gifts to Siloam Mission;
- Maintain and update Siloam's legacy giving relationship management system;
- Coordinate and prepare legacy survey communications, prepare the necessary materials for content deployment, and prepare reports and analysis on the performance of surveys.

- Strong analytical skills and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of people;
- Demonstrated ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential material and situations with integrity;
- Strong written and oral communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team as required;
- Working knowledge of databases in general, Donor Perfect an asset;
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs;
- Must have a valid Class 5G driver's license, a reliable vehicle and the ability to travel within city limits and occasionally to rural locations in southern Manitoba;
- Experience working with volunteers in a non-profit organization is an asset.

**RELATIONSHIP**
- Work closely with the Development Supervisor and entire Development team;
- Work occasionally with other departments, external vendors and volunteers.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Hours of work: Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Occasional evening and weekend;
- Office environment;
- Some travel of off-site events and meetings required.

**ADDITIONAL**

Clear Vulnerable Sector Check and Clear Adult Abuse Registry Check will be required.
