**Hours**: 35 Hours per week; Monday - Friday, with participation in after hours on-call duties

**Qualifications**:

- A diploma or certificate in human services or a related field and/or experience working with youth at risk and/or youth/adults with developmental disabilities is required for this position.
- At least 6 months previous related work experience in specialized supportive housing and non-specialized supportive housing programs is required. Direct program delivery experience in the community social services sector with a demonstrated working knowledge of community-based programs and related provincial and community support is preferred.
- Previous supervision experience is an asset

**Requirements**:

- Current Level 1 First Aid (including CPR) Certification.
- Excellent writing, data collection, and facilitation skills.
- Computer literacy (including internet).
- Safe driving record abstract will be required.
- Valid BC Driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Good verbal and written reporting skills.
- Good organization, computer literacy, as well as time and house management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of theory, principles and practices working with Trauma, Autism, or other challenges.

**Additional Information**:

- A moderate level of physical fitness is an asset since direct delivery of program activities may involve standing, walking, exercising with the individual, bending, lifting, etc.
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours, this may include support shifts or 24 hour shifts.
- Must have the ability to be on call during the week as well as scheduled weekend on call rotations.
- If you have a restriction from your physician or WorkSafe BC from working with individuals with substance misuse, or physical and verbal aggression, this would not be a good fit for you.
